HEATHER KING  -  Producer / Co-Writer / Co-Editor

Heather King has been co-writing and co-producing films with Chris since their first film in 2003. From costumes to craft services to "watching the kiddos on shoot days with no baby sitters", she has her hand in all aspects of production. She began with proofing and editing Chris’ screenplays, and moved into co-writing. "My favorite part of the film process is writing with Chris. He’s the story guy who writes the first draft, then we hunker down on the couch after the girls are in bed and go through the script line by line. Late nights, but great memories.” Heather holds a Master's degree in Spiritual Psychology from the University of Santa Monica, with post-graduate studies in Counseling Psychology and Soul-Centered Leadership.

Filmmakers' Note:

"Birthday" is a not-for-profit project.  Our only aim in having made this self-funded film was to pay tribute to our severely wounded veterans and their families.  Should a profit be made beyond what it cost to make and promote the film, a portion will go to the wonderful veterans programs that we've highlighted on this site and/or others not listed.
